Superkart Club WA was formed to foster the sport of superkart racing in Perth, Western Australia.
Superkarting in WA has been around since the late 1960’s. The WA Super Kart Club that existed then raced here until 2001.
WA drivers did continue to race, not here in WA, but regularly travelled over east to state and national championship events.
In July 2007, a group of karting enthusiasts started test and tune days at the Motoring South West complex in Collie. This track setup worked well for superkarts and sprint karts.

Re: SuperKart Club WA
How is everything going in WA ?
How many karts you guys getting on the grid now ?
Re: SuperKart Club WA
About a dozen regulars at test sessions and we are aware of a few more due to make an appearance soon.
Our first official race meeting will be in June at the Collie Motoplex. Hopefully that will draw some numbers to give WA a bit of a leg up to regular rounds. :)
Re: SuperKart Club WA
WA has some good numbers of road racers so you may get more entries from people trying different categories.
Formula 1000 seems to be kicking off there and I think the same type of enthusiasts would love 250 SuperKarting.
All the best !
