Not sure if there's any such thing as night life up there. We went in search of it on the Sunday night/Monday morning (Till 4AM) after Morgan Park Rd 2 2010, even the police we asked had no idea except for a really bad strip club where your shoes stuck to the carpet. I believe you have to go down to the gold coast for that. That's where we'll be. There's a party at Phill's place on all 3 event day nights ;)

Yeah i heard its FREE beer and strippers at Phil's place on Fri, Sat and Sun nights 8)

Gentlmen, i don't normally admit to this but i'm an ipswich local, if it's swamp donkeys, bush pigs or cougars your after i can show you all the right places to look ;) if your after anything of a higher quality ipswich is not the place and i would suggest phils on the coast....

I think a pre race drivers briefing should be held at a place called Honey Bee's in the Brisbane CBD, conveniently located just 5mins from my place. If we can't resolve any problems there, they aint ever gonna get solved.

Scott, NO sticky carpet, kick you shoes off if you wish on the tiles downstairs,
have a spare bedroom overlooking, walk thru doors to the pool if you sleep walk, fall into the pool,
and can accomodate more if crashing for the night, or after continuing into the early hours.
use the pool, which may be a bit fresh, would suit the southern state guys,
Play billiards or 8 ball on a fairly large pool table.

Ant's the man to know the best local spots (Girls) on the Gold Coast.

Did some one mention COUGARS........mmmmmmm..cougars.

We've got al kinds up here Pil... and if anyone is staying at the joint the SKA organised those rooms in, their hot spot is right across the road. Place called Brothers Leagues Club, where you'll find a variety of local cougars and swamp donkeys... You might even get your hands on a few of my ex's in there.... and if you get in early enough scott your feet wont stick to the floor straight away...

So with entries now closed the magic question woul be how many competitors are locked in to race???

NSW General meeting was on last night and Clint did his SKA report.
I asked him how many and he said 35 entries total. He couldn't remember the break down but said there were 5x 250 singles and there is >10 to make a field for 250 twin and 125GB.

For the travellers, there will be a marquee which we will be under near the dumbie grid. Cost per entrant at this stage is unknown as Shannon's have yet to communicate cost to SKA. The marquee is powered and apparently has lighting also. So no need to bring ezi-ups and generators.

Thanks Sam at least someone is giving us some information. Did Clint tell you what is wrong with the SKA website?

I did advise Clint that he should at least let the entrants know with an email blast on what the current pitting arrangments are so people don't pack ezy-ups and generators plus also let us know the entry list. He responded that he will do so once he knows the cost per entrant on the marquee together with your request on who you would like to be pitted next to.
Currently, he doesn't know when that email will be but anticipated in the next 2-3 days.

Clint said we are using the Marquee that is currently setup for the F3 at QLD Raceway. Well just saw this photo on facebook from F3's this weekend, answers another question now.
Someone asked last night if we are on asphalt or grass, by the look of this photo on grass with this plastic flooring.

Cookies scissor lift stands are going to love that plastic flooring.
If you have one, I suggest bring a sheet of plywood as well. ;)

Forget the plastic floor Sammy. That will be part of the F3 guys kit and will disappear with them.

The grass will love superkarters...... Plenty of fertilizer!!

The flooring won't break under the weight of a Cookie lift EVEN with Cookie on board for the ride.

There is no point load as it is distributed through the long tynes.

Save the load and leave the sheet of ply at home catching the oil drips off the car.

Not recquired at the NGB Nationals and Vic State Championships where the floor in the PIT LANE garages are cement.
As well the floor (plastic) WILL keep you feet DRY ([i]should it rain[/i]) in September at PI in the drivers lounge.

Jees Jas can't you see that Rolf is just taking the piss. Go take a bex and have a good lay down maybe you will feel better after that. Stop taking things so seriously its not Rolf's fault that Queensland Raceway has some of the worst facilities in Australia. If you come down to the PI meeting you will see that Rolf is prepared to back up what he says and he listens to what the competitor wants at a race meeting for a reasonable amount of money.
