Hi everyone I’m new here. I just brought a upright stand for my gokart. Its to be stored vertically with the rear axle on the bottom and front bumper facing upwards. The engine is a KT100S so as I understand it’s just the fuel that needs to be drained. To drain the fuel is it as simple as detaching the fuel line from the tank or from the filter or from the carburettor? or a step further and drain the pulse line that goes from the carburettor to the engine?
The carburettor is a Walbro.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

All you need to do is pull…
Draining fuel to store kart upright
All you need to do is pull fuel line that runs from tank to carby off at carby end and drain it out.
You can use fuel again if you keep it clean, but I would only use it for practice days as it does lose octane over time and won’t be as fast but make sure you shake fuel good to mix back up.
I personally wouldn’t use old fuel again if it was older than say 3 to 4 weeks old.
Hope this helps you
cheers
