I've had a few questions asked about Transponders. Craig from Wakefield has emailed out saying "contact Eldee Timing for Dorian's.
As per the original document the NSW club has bulk hired these, collect and pay for your Dorian when you sign on Saturday morning at the Superkart admin stand.
Craig's email are bulk emails to all as we are on the card.
Sorry I can't be there this weekend.. Bloody pissed off was really looking forward to this event.
Unfortunately on Wednesday our home was damaged due to the large hail storm. Been working all week to fix everything so we can leave... Accommodation booked... Flights booked... Kart in transporter ready to go. Due to Suncorp insurance assesses and the magnitude of claims from this storm if I don't meet with them on Friday and Saturday for the house and car damage I won't be able to process my claim for 4-6weeks.
Sorry boys.. Wish everyone a safe and successful weekend.
That's a bugger Ant, on many fronts, your property and that you can't attend.
Once again I'd like to thank you for your sponsorship and support of this race meeting. If it wasn't for your financial assistance, we couldn't have done everything that we've done for this meeting.
I'm also nervous of receiving the trophy bill when it arrives!
Holly shit. I had forgotten what a festering turd busted arse shit hole NSW was. Road works and stop go signs as far as the eye can see. Be fucking lucky to make it by Sunday :D
I found that out last year coming back from QR. 10 o'clock at night and the traffic lights were still working in the middle of nowhere. You might make it for presentations Jase. ;D ;D
So I ask Jase mate.......What happened with the Stock Honda state of origin..? Seems I had saved and cracked my last can of whoop ass from my dwindling supply.
Pineapple anybody...?
What a funking good weekend I had....Hope you all did to. Apologies to Rick on the tyre deal. It was not in tensional.
Well run meet thanks to the club and I can't wait till the VIC round next year.
Congrats Jase, This is yours, you have won the Pineapple Cup. I hope it hurts after the smartass remarks throughout the year on how you QLDer's were going to smack our asses. Ohhh yerrr, as if Mike Wayne and Ant were ever going to show to this meeting and have a good opportunity at winning this golden pineapple, Owen and I had money them not fronting 6 months ago. At least you fronted and faced the music, the others have packed their bat and ball just as Mark Webber couldn't handle being beaten by someone who is better whilst in the best equipment. Next time Jase Mate, don't under estimate the squirrel.
Congrats to Anton and Aker for winning as well and both getting their respective lap records. Commiserations to John Pellicano as I know he has tried very hard over the last 20 years for a National Title since his one and only in 1994 driving a Stockman/KX250.
Ant, I wasn't there only because the NSW club rules revolve around their "mates" that disallowed me. News on the wire from the weekend is that "mate's rules" again plays a part where they encouraged the worst sportsmanship from a repeat offender of dangerous driving.
As for Lakeside, you may well just see me there......maybe.....working on it...... ;)

Sam I pitted with Dalton and he will be the first to tell you I had s weekend to forget. All that aside I dont think I could have caught him on my best day, he drove a great meeting. There were plenty of other guys in stock Honda that drove well also in amongst some real hire kart action at the back. Great company at the meeting and good to catch up with the Vics and some NSW guys and also meet others.
With a bit of luck the Victorians sort out the grid next year so it can be taken a bit more seriously and what the hell was going on with the F3 guy swapping out with a drive ???

Lol, last race, Rick, myself, Pil and I think Matthew?? 4 wide up the short straight off the back of turn 2. I got squeezed and glad I did! 4 into the hill section would never have worked!!! ;D The smile is especially for you Pa
What an amazing weekend. 52 entries, wonderful people having a chat, I got to meet many I've spoken to only a phone or email which was great. The BBQ on Saturday arvo and Sunday lunch was great. It encouraged even more chat and introductions.
We couldn't have did this the way we did without Ant, thanks buddy. Your RaceTech Motorsport/Superkart Aus sponsorship really assisted us. Jack Makay and Julian from Pub-Serve Hotel Services took care of the Steve Blacky Blackburn side of things. We have some wonderful people in this sport.
Lap records were plenty, Anton Stevens with a 57.6524. Sam Rose wasn't far behind. In the 250 Nationals Jason Ackermanis took that with a 101.1388. Pelly broke it earlier with a 101.4408. In 125GB Jeff Reed did a 101.7454, taking his record back from Paul Campbell. The Rotax Light and Heavy went very close to being broken as well, so it was fast furious action out there.
Our limited volunteers worked there backsides off again, just like every meeting. I thank the many people who thanked these various people for making there racing day so much easier and more fun. We sure had the right people attend this meeting.
I thank each and every competitor who entered. The bloke who came 1st to the bloke who came last. Each entrant had an equal share in making the number 52 and without each of these people it wouldn't have been the same.
What happend with Winslow ? His a nice bloke with plenty of experience in many categories.

From a spectators point of view I think he tried to re-create his famous F3 crash where he moved over on a faster vehicle and caused it to flip and catch the tyre wall on fire. I stress: A meagre spectators point of view!
Regarding your co driver input, you don't understand how the AASA works.
Regarding The F3 driver, he was penalised for an incident. As I was in the tower on numerous occasions, I was also privy to further information. That's information that doesn't need to be spread all over the place to incite negativity so I won't elaborate on any "other/s" drivers.
I won't ruin what's been a great 13 pages of positive communication together by acknowledging the lies of one other persons post on here.
Again, thanks to all those for being wonderful people at a great event.
Wayne to be fair Owen was certainly not the only one scratching his head about this on the weekend. It certainly takes a lot of credibility away from an event when that sort of thing happens.
The many people who have complimented the event have not even raised a question over a driver change. But the bits I know are....
* Anyone can have a driver change. (this has been done before) * It must be reported and approved to the tower. * The new driver will start rear of grid.
On the weekend, by Winslow stepping out, his championship was over after race 3. The new drivers championship started at race 4. You might say silly them as they both blew there chance. Winslow I believe would've been top 3, but I also heard as this isn't his normal category, by stepping out, he wouldn't hinder one of the regulars who race this category all the time.

I agree with you; I love the track too - it suits the Stock Honda very well. It reminds me of the late Amaroo Park which was also a Roller Coaster ride. The top loop would be even more unreal if they fix the bump and bank the corner a little ;D :'(
Phil, Dalton and any other Stock Honda drivers with a camera on, please upload the footage on youtube and let the public see what a great class this is. :)
Congratulation Dalton; you were the man on the day and you richly deserved the Title - sorry, I didn't get a chance to catch up with you after the presentation. :(

Wakefield has notified me of entries received with a Dorian number included.
Other numbers have been provided by the Victorian Superkart Club.
It's ONLY people who don't have an allocated Dorian. Those people are allocated one by timing on our behalf from our bulk hire.
