Hi guys. Brand new account and new to the scene. Looking to get some help with a sale listing to see if it's good value or not. Very sorry if I'm not posting in the right area.

Hi wazerp,

On the surface the price seems reasonable, however it will all be dependent on condition of the engine and chassis as these things are more difficult for a new starter to determine.

Since it's an arrow kart from Townsville, why not have a chat to your local kart shop as they may be the ones who first sold the kart and know a bit about it's maintenance history.  Try asking at Townsville Kart Centre, they may also have other 2nd hard karts to compare.

Additionally, I would recommend you visit the local kart club to get to know people first before committing - karters are generally very helpful to newcomers to the sport and can help point you in the right direction.

If you know enough details about the kart/owner, you could also review how often they raced on Speedhive.  This will also give you a good idea of how many people race locally in which kart classes.
