Yes congratulations to winners in each class,
and all who competed at the QR Nationals.

This may be considered biased,
but congratulations to Ant, who did so well in all races,
just a shame a technical issue caused a DNF when he was placed 5th or 6th
in the last race.

Before the weekend Ant said he would be happy to be in the top ten against the best in Australia.

Is it true that they can't even get the number of laps right, I suppose it was because they couldn't see because of the sun in their eyes.

More positive stuff from Nat22, keep it coming, that's what brings people to the sport ::)

Jas just stating fact, they should have been able to count to 8 without taking their shoes and socks off. No its this sort of crap that drives people away from the sport. A very basic thing getting the number of laps right. Timing have it on their screen and usually confirm it with the person that has the chequered flag.

Graeme, my point was that you seem to like to highlight the negative things. Why not get on here and say how great the racing was or how fast the pace was or how great the karts looked, or how well Gary and Jason handled a crap situation that was neither of there faults.
Could it be that you don't know how good it was cause you weren't there and just prefer to throw rocks from a distance?

We all put on a great show and everyone's karts looked great.

On a personal note I'd like to thank Ian @ Viper-UK for all his help and supplying a great kart package, Scott @ SAFE Evolutions, Marty Latta, Ashley Zahl @ Zahl 1 Karting and everyone who offered advice and helped me over the weekend.

Great work for your first crack at it Ant, you should be stoked with that.

Holy crap you Queenslanders are precious, i think Nat22 was commenting on the black flag and wrong laps situation. We are all aware it was an officialdom problem. Nothing associated with SKA, QSKC or any of their members, drivers or hangers on!! Stuff like that and Phillip Islands rain and no friday practice sours the races weekends for all. Official stuff is the most annoying as they are the one who put processes in place so this stuff doesn't happen!! CAMS always crack me up, they make you run a transponder then tell me you cant have a shade or outline on your race number. What cant the transponder see the race number clear enuff?!?!

Congratulations to Jason, Brendan and Jeff for taking out their respective titles. Also to the placegetters in each class.

It seemed there was plenty of good racing up and down the field.

Yeah im fairly happy considering it was my first race in the twin, would have liked to have been a bit quicker but i learnt alot and most importantly had a absolute awesome time racing with everyone.

No probs mate. More than happy to help however I can. Thanks for putting up with us and helping with the huge repair job on Saturday night and for the frieght help etc etc etc etc.

I take back everything negitive I have ever said about QR (as a track). Being able to start the kart and run it at 9.45pm on Saturday night after 95% of the repair work was done was a real help in being able to deal with what had happened.
